About Me....
Hi! I am Natalie, the owner and author of The Pediatric OT, LLC. For over 20 years, I have been a pediatric Occupational Therapist in Georgia. Currently, I serve preschool, elementary, and middle school students in public schools, privately, and in teletherapy. Through the years, I have served a wide range of disabilities. It has been my dream to open my own practice and serve in my own community! I am thankful first of all to God, my Rock and my Strength. He has guided my path to this place and I am honored to be His servant in this capacity. It is definitely unchartered territory, but I am ready for the challenge!
My Background
In 1994, I graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. After that, I began my OT career in a hospital setting where I was later trained in outpatient pediatrics. When I transitioned to the schools in 1999, I found my passion in serving both students and staff. Since then, I have continued to serve in various school districts, in private outpatient clinics and in homes.
In my career, my most gratifying moments have been solving problems for children and the adults that care for them. Each student, each child is unique. So, finding what works sometimes takes much effort and significant patience. But, oh the end reward is indeed sweet! My prayer is that when our paths cross in whatever way, that you will be met with kindness, hope, and compassion as we work together to find solutions to the problems you face. I do not take it lightly when you choose to entrust your child in my care.
My Family
My family and I now live in Carrollton, Georgia – my hometown. We actually moved back here in July 2018 when God called us to get closer to our extended family. It has been a true blessing. I have been married for over 25 years and have two teenage boys and two crazy dogs! In my free time, I enjoy watching movies with my family, eating out, browsing Pinterest, playing games, shopping for antiques, doing DIY projects, studying the bible, listening to music, walking outside, writing, traveling, and training my dogs.
